      Mission center herself provides a nurturing environment in which women can reconnect with themselves through bodywork.  Philosophy From time to time, we use words such as unbalanced, off-center and disconnected to describe our lives. Based on the belief that body, mind and spirit are inseparable, center herself aspires to help women re-center and reconnect via bodywork. Bodywork, in its very nature, is a tool and a guide for us to reconnect with ourselves and return to a centered place. By blending techniques from both Eastern and Western bodywork practices, center herself addresses the whole woman from physical discomforts to lifestyle. While it is female nature to connect by bonding with others and creating familial environments, it is equally our nature to be internally connected - physically and spiritually. We simply need to allow ourselves the space. Bodywork sessions may include information about different bodywork approaches, strengthening exercises, posture, breathing patterns and lifestyle. Bio 
Jenny Lorant is a Licensed Massage Therapist. She earned her A.O.S in Massage Therapy at the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences, M.A. in Teaching at the School for International Training and B.A. in English Literature with a focus on Women's Studies at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Jenny is additionally certified in Perinatal massage by Carol Osborne-Sheets' Body Therapy Associates and Infant Massage Instruction by the International Loving Touch Foundation , has studied at the Ohashiatsu Institute and is a trained doula and member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP). Jenny's passion for women's self development led her to: English Center for International Women (ECIW) at Mills College, Mujeres Unidas y Activas and the Women's Building, Women's Health Resource Center at the University of California - San Francisco (UCSF) and Safe Horizon of New York. |
